What this stuff is about?
Google gears is a project by Google providing unique features for browsers and web site. The most notable things are offline modes for Gmail and Google docs. Unfortunately, Google doesn't provide gears for 64bit Firefox on Linux systems. But here opensource model play the role. I compiled sources for x86_64 Linux system and put binaries on this site.
